Results of the Anniversary Conference, October 29, 2017

Taunigma at MENAFA 2017

Dear partners!  

Every year the UAE hosts the biggest franchising event – exhibition Middle East Franchise Expo.

This year, the event assembled the leading franchisers of the Middle East and North Africa on October 18-19 at Jumeirah Beach Hotel (Dubai). Our company also took part in the MENAFA 2017 exhibition.


For three years in a row, Taunigma has been a member of the franchising association MENAFA membership in which gives us an opportunity to distribute information about our activities among potential franchisees and take part in interesting field-specific events.


At the exhibition, the representatives of Taunigma and NT.Payments told about the company’s business, prospective future activities and demonstrated our machines.

All visitors of our stand expressed appreciation for the company’s payment and advertising services.

NT.Payments at GITEX 2017

Dear partners! 

Every year, Dubai hosts the largest event in the field of innovative technologies – GITEX Technology Week. This year, the exhibition brought together 4 500 exponents from 97 countries at Dubai World Trade Centre. 


The technology show presented the latest smart technologies bringing innovations to the Middle East for the governmental and private sectors. 


The event once again demonstrated that any project is possible to be implemented: robots, unmanned aerial taxi, flying motorbike, cars, virtual airport tunnels, innovative products for home and business. All this illustrates the future we read about in books is coming soon. 


We are glad to inform you that the representatives of Kiosk IT System Trading LLC traditionally took part in the event to get inspired with new products, useful information for improving own projects as well as for valuable networking. 


The most important thing for our team on the exhibition was signing the contract with a large governmental organization FEWA (Federal Electricity and Water Authority) that supplies electric power and water to all the northern emirates.


IT specialists of our company have already started work for integrating the new service at the payment system. Therefore, FEWA services will soon be available at the NT.Payments kiosks that enable UAE people to pay water and electricity bills quickly and without queues. 


Signing the contract with the large service provider is an important event for our team and a major step towards connecting other governmental services.

How has the Company Changed since Your First Working Day?

In recent years, Kiosk IT System Trading LLC has grown and become a number one in the payments market and advertising services. When we started a company in the UAE in 2012, there were only three employees, but today, more than 150 specialists work to develop the payment and advertising systems. Nowadays, we actively work on three projects and introduce new standards of operation. We have achieved much and set new goals. How did it all begin? We decided to ask our employees what the company was on their first day at work and what changes has occurred since then.

I am one of those employees who first came to the UAE to start payment business. It was a kind of startup that aimed at creating the largest and competitive payment kiosks’ network in the UAE.


We started our work in a small office just for several people. More than 4 years have passed since then. Over this time, the company has almost completely changed. Today, we are more than 150 employees. Although we speak different languages, but this does not prevent us from successful accomplishing tasks and developing. From a small office, we have grown into six branches in various regions. We have a big warehouse to store payment kiosks as well as a workshop to repair and setup terminals.

For my part, I have an opportunity to grow professionally. I started my career as a specialist of the Technical Department, later I was in charge for introducing the agent system, setting up terminals and monitoring their condition. Now, I am the head of a small department responsible for technical maintenance of all the company’s divisions.

When I joined the company, less than 20 people worked here. All we were sitting in a small office. It was a time of shortest communications because all the departments were located at a distance of less than 4 meters from each other. After three years of work, I see how the company has grown: we installed more than 2700 terminals, launched two new products, expanded work streams, connected some new services for the clients, and opened five new offices in the UAE.


In order to improve performance, we constantly introduce new rules and processes so that all the departments comply with the international standards. Our great achievement is gaining ISO certification in national and international quality management systems. Our company is growing. Today, we are the leaders in the number of terminals installed and payments accepted. We keep on strengthening the market position, improving information technologies and developing new projects.

The rapid development of the market affects each company. To remain the number one, we need to keep up with the times following current trends.


When I joined the company, we all worked in a small office. At that time, we had just 400 NT.Payments kiosks installed throughout the UAE. Few people knew about us, we were just beginning. However, time went by, we worked a lot, we started new projects, got interesting offers, the number of requests from landlords to install the payment kiosks was growing. A need has emerged to expand the company. Therefore, new people joined our friendly team, we moved to a new office with the sufficient number of workplaces.

Since then, we have had a mandatory dress code (smiling). Once, a company becomes recognizable in the market, society focuses not only on its activities but also on its employees. We, sales managers, are the face of the company therefore, we should always look presentable.

Since the first working day, I have started mastering the main company’s rules and standards. Learning the processes and providers we cooperate with, I was trying to introduce innovations to improve our work. For example, I lacked the statistics of the payment system operation, clients, transactions, project statuses before. That made my work a bit complex. Over time, we have implemented and started using an integrated reporting system that quickly gives us information.


Our company has lately become more recognizable in the UAE. In this regard, we are trying to get closer to our clients. Half a year ago, we added a new direction – marketing, to the Business Development Department. Nowadays, we work to increase the number of clients; we distribute more information about our activities, and hold promotions in social media.

Every day, we receive more and more positive feedbacks about our kiosks and company. More requests from service providers come. We are glad to be recognizable and attractive for cooperation. The sales volume growth, raising number of kiosks and services increased the amount of work. However, that improves our motivation because all roads to success pass through hard work.

Our company is growing every day and changing fast. If we compare it then and now with a house construction, we can say, then we built walls on a fresh dried foundation and now we are finishing and furnishing the facilities.


When I joined the company, there were many new things so sometimes I faced difficulties in establishing communications between the departments. For example, in order to resolve unconventional investors’ issues, I had to classify an issue, select a right way to assign it to a person in charge and monitor a current issues’ status by myself. It wasted a lot of time. Now it is different.

Now we work on automation of the franchise reporting analysis process and the website. We sure it will enable our clients to quickly get answers for most common questions.

When a company grows, its employees grow too. Our tasks are becoming more complicated that require continues professional development and knowledge improvement. This includes analytics, project management, software design, language skills, etc. Now we can do these things on our own, however, we soon plan to develop a staff training and development program. We are hopeful of it.

The history of the company is very important and plays a significant role in its success. It tells a lot and gives the first impression about the company, business development, people whose desire and faith helped to achieve the set goals.

New Quality Control System

Dear partners! 

Quality is a prerequisite for delivering excellent service valued by customers. Kiosk IT System Trading LLC works hard to continue being a number one in quality of payment services in the Emirates market. We are constantly improving the terminals’ assessment system, introducing new processes to monitor kiosks and keep them in top condition. 


For this to happen, we established a special independent committee that has the task of monitoring payment kiosks’ operation and their technical conditions. Not only is the availability of necessary services important for terminals but the compliance of the devices’ appearance with the standard in place, their aesthetic appeal for customers. 


As of today, three divisions: Commercial Department, Technical Department and special independent committee consisting of employees of other departments including Taunigma are in charge for quality assurance. 

The special committee, as well as other duty departments monitor operability (promotional display, touchpad, validator, printer, and dispenser) and appearance (conditions of both displays, painting, stickers, cleanliness) of payment kiosks. 

To implement these plans, we opened our own painting workshop within the Technical Department. Employees of this division will help us keep color of payment kiosks bright especially color of ones installed outside and exposed to strong sun. 


In order to carefully assess terminals, members of the committee travel to various regions of the UAE to perform scheduled and unscheduled checks. This is a good opportunity not only for controlling terminals’ operation but also for communicating with landlords, learning their expectations about new services and cooperation. 


After each trip, the committee reports on results and issues notes for people in charge who control operation of one or other kiosk.

Every day, employees of Taunigma review and analyze updated images of kiosks in the internal corporate system. Not only operability but also appearance is important for us because it affects the number of clients and, therefore, a turnover. 


The latest innovations help us to improve quality of the kiosks’ operation and provide clients with the best payment service in the UAE.

Business Trip to China

Dear partners! 

Shenzhen is a dynamically developing city located nearby Hong Kong. 

For several years, our company has maintained strong relationships with a local electronic factory that produces NT.Payments kiosks and Taunigma-Combo multicomplexes. 


This year, a representative of Kiosk IT System Trading LLC travelled there to negotiate issues of expanding functionality of equipment and implementing a number of innovations that will improve our terminals. During the business trip, Alexey Trofimov, the Head of the Technical Department, took a look at the latest technologies of payment kiosks’ manufacturing. He also established business contacts with suppliers of equipment in order to expand the range of Taunigma franchises. 


“The trip was interesting and successful. We discussed the improvement of the terminals’ operation with the representatives of the factory, learn about new components, exchange the experience of painting kiosks. In the UAE, some kiosks are installed outside. Under strong sunlight, the paint starts fading that affect the terminals’ appearance which is important for us”, – Alexey, the Head of the Technical Department, says. 

In addition, the representative of our company visited a factory that works for both designing, developing, manufacturing terminals and producing various advertising LED displays. The meeting compared models of payment kiosks, discussed a production organization, cost of terminals, advertising panels, components; and transportation. 


Despite his busy work schedule, Alexey managed to visit current suppliers of card readers, cash acceptors for NT.Payments kiosks and combo-terminals to discuss prospects for future cooperation.


It is safe to say that the business trip was productive. We saw the facilities where our terminals are being assembled once again, examined technical innovations to improve operation of equipment, and established new contacts that will help us to implement our future plans and projects. 


The trip was not without leisure program. Employees of the factory took Alexey around beautiful places of Shenzhen, introduced traditions of their countries, and offered him national Chinese food.

Promotion at Byblos Hotels

We have recently finalized the promotions in Geant hypermarket chain aimed at popularizing NT.Payments system. This time, a promotion took place at Byblos hotel group where our payment kiosks are installed.

We Moved to a New Office

NT.Payments at an exhibition Seamless Middle East 2017

Dear partners!

Participating in professional events is an important aspect of life of each company. This is an excellent opportunity to declare themselves, establish business contacts, share experience of other specialists, listen to inspiring lectures of speakers, etc. We try to keep up to date with various exhibitions in order to be always engaged in events of payment and advertising industries. 


This year, our company went to the Seamless Middle East 2017 exhibition held at Dubai International Convention & Exhibition Centre on May 1- 2. Stand R54 represented electronic payments products offered by Kiosk IT System Trading LLC. 


Seamless Middle East is an international exhibition for payment systems, technologies, entrepreneurship, banking, and retail. Its main directions are e-commerce innovations, revenue management, and security systems. More than 300 big companies took part in the event this year.




Visitors and participants of the exhibition showed a keen interest in the company. Over a period of two days our team briefed people visiting the stand on advanced payment and advertising technologies by presenting the NT.Payments terminals product line. 


Employees of our company spoke to visitors, answered questions, and presented a gift voucher for advertising at NT.Payments kiosks to each guest.

Training for Sales Managers

Dear partners!

Today, employees of the commercial department have much more work. They continue to install NT.Payments terminals and start building a new payment and advertising network based on combo-kiosks. 

In order to enhance efficiency of work of the sales specialists, the company’s management decided to conduct a motivational training. 


On the event, the employees listened to speeches of heads of departments related to specifics of cooperation with landlords, discussed new products, future plans, and take part in business games. 


The first, Ahmed El Ashmouny, the Chief Financial Officer, spoke. He shared ideas of sales improvement and disclosed a secret of negotiating with local landlords. “On the first meeting with a landlord, it is vital not to speak about a bargain but about a product you offer. Make them think about benefits from cooperation with us”, – Ahmed El Ashmouny said. 


The Project Manager Elena Khaletskaya presented new services and future plans to connect a wide range of providers. The sales managers should know about all the services of NT.Payments kiosks in order to create a good business offer for a landlord. 


Vitaliy Fomin, the Head of the Customer Service Department of Taunigma, recalled why responding to requests from Taunigma is so important. “Each kiosk has an owner – a partner of our company. Our goal is to ensure steady operation of each machine, so that our partners receive the expected revenue”, – Vitaliy says. 


Andrii Dyhan, the Head of the Customer Care Department of NT.Payments, highlighted categories of requests, that employees of these departments create every day, in his speech. Communication between these two departments is very important. In this way, the employees obtain the information when a kiosk failure occurs or forward a request to reinstall a terminal at a new location. 


Besides, within the scope of the event, Vasyl Katriy, the General Manager of Kiosk IT System Trading LLC, organized and held business games. On this part of training, the employees solved logic tasks, took part in competition for creating the best business proposal, recognized the best sales managers of the month. All the winners were awarded souvenirs. 


Vasyl Katriy also recalled that appearance is an important aspect for successful performance of a manager. In order to increase motivation of the sales specialists to wear business clothes, each participant of the event got an essential element of a business suit – a tie. 


A team of like-minded people supporting the overall direction is the key to the fruitful work. After summing up the results of training, the employees of the commercial department went to a bowling center to maintain the team spirit. 


The company’s management wished every employee to develop and grow, move forward and take leading positions. 

The company intends to continue organizing such trainings for other departments. Such communication has a positive influence on the working environment and attitudes of the employees.
