November 3 is the UAE Flag Day!

Did you know that every year on 3 November the UAE celebrates Flag Day? It is not a national holiday but holds a special place within the local community and symbolizes devotion and love for the homeland and its ideals as well as love for the country`s national symbol.

Sheikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the ruler of Dubai and part-time Prime Minister of the UAE, conceived the Flag Day celebrations. The holiday was launched in 2013, nine years after Sheikh Khalifa bin Zeid Al Nahyan, son of the UAE`s first President Zeid bin Sultan Al Nahyan and took office as the country`s ruler.

It is widely celebrated by public and private institutions, educational institutions, companies and the public who display the Emirates national symbols around their homes, public places and workplaces. The Flag-raising Ceremony is performed during which the national anthem is played.

Taunigma FZE company sincerely congratulates all UAE residents on this wonderful holiday that we celebrate together with other red days of the calendar. Our company honors and appreciates every important moment from the history of this wonderful country, where we have been successfully working in the payment business for the past ten years.
